What is Golf Digest Rewards?

Provided by Golf Digest Magazine, Golf Digest Rewards is a Cash Back Loyalty program that gives Golf Digest subscribers and GolfDigest.com visitors Cash Back when they sign up and shop from rewards.golfdigest.com.

Members of Golf Digest Rewards can earn Cash Back on purchases at participating program partners. Cash Back is provided to members in the form of a Golf Digest Rewards Check.

Why should I shop through Golf Digest Rewards?

Every time you begin your shopping at rewards.golfdigest.com, you earn Cash Back. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Log on (or register)
  • Seek a merchant or product and click to go to the merchant's site
  • Shop online as usual
  • Receive a purchase confirmation from the merchant after your purchase
  • Later on, you'll earn Cash Back for the purchases you made.
  • You'll receive an email from Golf Digest Rewards indicating the rewards earned.

Can I go directly to a merchant's web site, or do I always have to start here?

In order to receive Cash Back, you must begin your shopping at Golf Digest Rewards every time. It's the only way your purchases can be tracked to your Golf Digest Rewards membership to earn Cash Back.

Do I get Cash Back every time I shop, or just the first time?

Registered members get Cash Back every time they shop from rewards.golfdigest.com. Plus, there is no limit to the amount of Cash Back you can earn from the Golf Digest Rewards.

Do I get Cash Back for anything I buy?

Some merchants do not offer Cash Back for certain products and services such as gift cards or gift certificates. Also, taxes and shipping fees are not eligible for Cash Back. You can get specific details on the information page for each merchant on the Golf Digest Rewards website. To find the merchant information, click on the "more info" link next to the merchant's name on any shopping category page, or use the Search box to search for a specific merchant.

How long does it take after I make a purchase to see my Cash Back at the Web site?

The amount of time between when you place your order with a merchant and when your Cash Back will appear in your account can vary widely, depending on the merchant. It can take up to 45 days to appear in your account, but when we add the Cash Back to your account, we'll send you an email confirming it so you don't have to worry about it! For any purchases made for travel (including hotels and rental cars) you may see your Cash Back post once that travel has occurred. Even then, please allow up to 45 days after your actual travel dates.

If after 45 days you still do not see the Cash Back in your account, Contact Us and provide the date of transaction, merchant name, order number, and amount of your purchase (before taxes and shipping).

What if I don't see my Cash Back for my purchase?

Your Cash Back should post to your account within 45 days (except for travel transactions as noted above).

If after 45 days you still do not see the Cash Back in your account, Contact Us and provide the date of transaction, merchant name, order number, and amount of your purchase (before taxes and shipping). Note that we can only research transactions made within the past 180 days. Merchants will not address order inquiries older than that, therefore Golf Digest Rewards cannot obtain missing Cash Back rewards for these purchases.

All returns will result in a deduction of Cash Back previously awarded for that purchase.

Do I need a coupon code to take advantage of special offers?

In some cases you do. The coupon code will be given to you along with the special offer. Note that if you go to other sites online to try to find coupon codes and use those, you may invalidate your opportunity for Cash Back through this program.

How do I know how much Cash Back I will receive for each purchase I make?

You will earn a different amount from each merchant, depending on what you buy at that merchant's site. We show you the percentage of Cash Back or flat rate per transaction you will get for each $1 you spend at a specific merchant. View the merchant's information page for specific details on any disclaimers indicating what types of purchases may be ineligible for Cash Back.

I made a purchase outside of Golf Digest Rewards. Can I still get Cash Back?

In order for your purchase to be eligible, you must be a registered member and start your online shopping at rewards.golfdigest.com. Unfortunately, purchases made without going through this online mall are not eligible for Cash Back. Online orders need to be tracked to your Golf Digest Rewards account, and this happens automatically when you log in to the Golf Digest Rewards mall using your email address. Merchants will not fund loyalty shopping rewards if a transaction cannot be tracked back to Golf Digest Rewards.

Can I earn Cash Back by shopping in-store?

Currently, you can only earn Cash Back when shopping online. Some merchants, however, allow you to shop online and pick up in-store (search for a merchant and read the merchant disclaimer for the availability of this feature). Alternatively, there is a wide selection of gift cards you can purchase through Golf Digest Rewards and through participating online merchants. You earn Cash Back when you purchase these prepaid cards from some merchants, and the cards can then be used in-store. Check each merchant's terms and conditions before purchasing to know which are eligible for Cash Back rewards.

How do I know that merchants are really participating?

If you start your shopping at Golf Digest Rewards, then the merchant you click is a participating merchant. Your order will be tracked and therefore eligible for Cash Back.

There is no screen to enter your Golf Digest Rewards information at the merchant's site. Merchants are often unaware of Golf Digest Rewards. This is because Golf Digest Rewards is the organization that credits the Cash Back, not the merchant. The merchant pays a commission to Golf Digest Rewards, and Golf Digest Rewards converts this payment to Cash Back for you.

Redeeming Cash Back
How do I receive my Cash Back?

Each quarter, if you've accumulated at least $15 in Cash Back, you'll automatically receive a Cash Back redemption. You will receive a Golf Digest Rewards Check for the total Rewards you've earned as of quarter-end. We'll send your check to you at the address registered in your Golf Digest Rewards profile.

When do I receive my Cash Back?

Cash Back will be processed four times during the year: in mid-February for Cash Back accumulated as of December 31; mid-May for Cash Back accumulated as of March 31; mid-August for Cash Back accumulated as of June 30; and mid-November for Cash Back accumulated as of September 30. You will automatically receive a payment if you've earned $15 or more in Cash Back as of these deadlines.

Does my Cash Back ever expire?

As long as you are a member of Golf Digest Rewards, your Cash Back will not expire. If you have less than $15 in Cash Back at any time, and you would like to receive it, you will need to contact us in order to request to redeem your Rewards. See our Terms and Conditions.
